As part of the project „3, 2, 1 … time for health”, each school, apart from the tasks planned in the project, undertakes additional activities aimed at drawing the attention of students and their parents to the problem of healthy eating and physical activity among young people. It is difficult to imagine a healthy lifestyle without a clean natural environment, including water, air and soil, because the quality of the listed elements has a huge impact on our lives. The 7th grade students found out about it, who spent this morning „in the field” during their geography lessons, testing the quality of the air they breathe. As part of the lesson combining elements of geography, biology and chemistry, students measured the temperature and humidity of the air and examined the presence and type of air dust, the pH of airborne dusts and air pollution based on the presence of indicator organisms. Based on the research, everyone came to the conclusion that it is not so bad with our air in Ustrobna and it is possible to breathe.
